applique-murale-iguazu-jute-naturel-e27
Iguazu natural jute wall light 40 cm E27

The Iguazu wall lamp is a 40 cm jute disc, mounted parallel to the wall, with the bulb at its center. Its threads radiate from the heart to the edge, punctuated by concentric circles: a fiber medallion set against the wall. It plugs into an outlet via a 250 cm black textile cord, equipped with a switch.

Light and ambiance

The bulb placed in the center shines through and around the disc: the light filters between the jute threads and casts a radiant halo on the wall. It is an ambient light rather than task lighting, creating a warm focal point in a hallway, near an armchair, or above a bed. The E27 base accepts a bulb up to 60 W; since it remains visible in the center, a decorative filament bulb suits it well.

Materials and craftsmanship

The disc is made of twisted jute thread, stretched in rays over a thin iron frame, with no visible wooden structure. Tighter toward the center and spaced further apart toward the edge, the threads allow light to pass through while maintaining the density of the material. The jute retains its natural honey hue, matte and raw, with the subtle variations unique to the fiber. The disc attaches to a round, black wall plate from which the cord extends.

Where and at what height to install it

Plan for 1.60 to 1.80 m between the floor and the wall lamp: this is the standard reference. Its 40 cm size makes it easy to place above a bed, along a hallway, near an armchair, or above a bench. Alone, it punctuates a wall; as a pair, it forms a duo, or a composition with a larger disc from the same line. The 250 cm cord reaches down to an outlet: ensure one is nearby.

Style and decoration

Set like a medallion, the Iguazu wall lamp plays with the radiant pattern and texture of jute. It dresses a wall with a bohemian and natural accent, alongside plants, velvet, raw woods, and the sandy tones of a living room or bedroom. It is as much a decorative object as it is a source of light.

Installation and use

The wall lamp attaches to the wall via its 12 cm round plate and plugs into an outlet, with the cord remaining visible. It is not adjustable. The E27 bulb is not provided, 60 W maximum: choose it according to the desired warmth of the light. Intended for indoor use, with an IP20 protection rating, it can be dusted with a soft, dry cloth.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0973/8000/8263/files/applique-murale-iguazu-jute-naturel-e27-40-cm-detouree.jpg?v=1792072843
