However, it clashes with bluish-gray stoneware and brushed stainless steel, where it appears orangey. Under a dark stoneware mug, the effect is significantly less convincing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eOne point worth noting: red pigments are the least resistant to daylight, and a square left permanently on a sunny windowsill will fade towards neutral brown, while its twins stored in a drawer will remain red. If you buy several, rotate them.
