La Chiba tire sa singularité d'un système de suspension minimaliste : trois tiges d'acier laqué noir de section carrée fine, fixées au mur en tête et crochetées sous le bord avant du plateau, portent l'ensemble avec une légèreté presque immatérielle. Le plateau semble décoller du mur, créant un jeu d'ombre subtil entre le bois et la surface. La finition frêne — veinures parallèles fines, teinte blonde chaude — confère à ce plateau XL une présence naturelle et apaisante. The top is made of high-density MDF covered with a melamine ash finish — a process that guarantees a surface resistant to scratches, light moisture, and everyday impacts, while offering the warm visual appeal of ash wood with its fine and regular grain. The hanging frame consists of three matte black lacquered steel rods, treated for lasting resistance to corrosion and wear, with a thin square section that enhances the architectural character of the piece.

The Chiba is delivered knocked down with screws included. Wall mounting is done via the three rings at the top of the rod, to be screwed directly into the wall — a three-point attachment that guarantees optimal stability over the entire 120 cm length. It is strongly recommended to fix it into a solid support (concrete, brick or plasterboard with strong anchor plugs) to safely utilize the maximum load of 15 kg. Two-person installation is recommended for perfect alignment of the rods.
