How do I create a harmonious gallery wall?

First lay your frames out on the floor to try the arrangement before drilling. Keep an even gap of 5 to 8 cm between pieces and a common thread: a frame colour, a theme or a shared format. Paper templates on the wall help you avoid drilling in the wrong place.

How high should I hang a picture?

Place the centre of the picture about 145 cm from the floor, average eye level. Above a sofa or a sideboard, leave 20 to 30 cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame so they look connected without touching.

What size of artwork for which wall?

On a large bare wall, one wide piece or a row of three keeps it from looking lost. Above a piece of furniture, aim for artwork about two thirds the width of the furniture. In a hallway, a series of small formats gives the passage rhythm.

What are decorative acoustic panels for?
