What size cushion should I choose for a sofa?

The 45 x 45 cm size is the most versatile. For a large sofa, mix 50 x 50 cm cushions at the back with smaller or rectangular ones in front. Playing with two or three sizes looks livelier than an identical row.

How do I mix cushions without getting it wrong?

Start from a dominant colour already present in the room, then add a contrasting material: velvet next to linen, a plain cushion next to a subtle pattern. An odd number of cushions often works better than an even one. Stick to either warm or cool tones.

Do the covers come off for washing?

Most of our covers open with a zip and are easy to wash, which extends their life and makes care simpler. The exact washing instructions are given on each product page, depending on the material.

Should I buy a filled cushion or just the cover?

Our decorative cushions are generally sold filled, ready to use. If you only want to refresh your decor, some designs are available as a cover only, to slip over a cushion pad you already have. The details are on the product page.
