Natural raffia cushion cover with black fringe

Key measurements for choosing the size and filling:

• 40 x 40 cm: 0.65 kg, 40 x 40 x 2 cm package
• 60 x 60 cm: 1.25 kg, 60 x 60 x 2 cm package
• Filling: not provided, a cushion of the same size as the cover

What gives it its substance and contrast:

• Front: natural raffia, hand-crocheted in regular rows
• Fringe: strands of black-dyed raffia, left whole and knotted tightly all around the edge
• Texture: dry and slightly coarse, best suited as a decorative cushion rather than for support
• Handmade: texture, color, and shape may vary slightly from one cover to another

The blonde tone of the panel and the black of the fringe make this cover a graphic, entirely plant-based piece. The small size works well as a pair in the foreground of a sofa or on a chair, while the large one stands alone on a bed or bench. It pairs well with light woods and other natural fibers.

For use and care:

• Uses: sofa, chair, bed, or covered patio
• Do not wash: dust with a dry brush or soft brush
• Keep away from humidity, which would cause the black dye to bleed onto the panel
• Storage: flat, with nothing placed on top, so as not to break the strands
