What it is made of, shell by shell:

• Material: cowrie shells glued one by one
• Layout: shells tilted, in a spiral from top to bottom
• Naturally shiny surface, without varnish
• Fine orange lines on a cream background with bluish-gray highlights, unique to each sphere
• Shells of the same gauge for both sizes: fewer rows on the small one

Covered in a shiny natural material, the Oluolu catches the light without being colored. On a dark wooden tray, its shells stand out; in a light-colored bowl, it blends into the ensemble. Alone in the center of a coffee table or grouped together on a shelf, it adds a subtle marine touch.

Where to place it and how to keep it intact:

• Decorative piece, without hanging cord
• Uses: alone on a coffee table or console, as part of a group in a bowl, as a bookend
• Never rub or roll the ball: a torn shell cannot be replaced
• Do not place it in a precarious position where it could fall
• Dust with a soft brush, without water
• Keep away from direct heat sources
• Indoor use only
