Tightly woven rattan, with a pattern integrated into the weave:

• Material: dark brown rattan tightly woven over a frame
• Design: short bands of darker strands, radiating on the base and the rim
• Shape: concave base surrounded by a wide, flat rim
• Craftsmanship: handmade, color and weave may vary slightly from one piece to another

The dark piece in a wall of fibers: against a brightly lit white partition, this deep brown maintains contrast throughout the day, while a light fiber fades away. Alone above a console or sofa, or combined with other diameters, it creates a warm wall; on a dark wall, grazing light will make it stand out.

How to hang it, and keep it looking beautiful:

• Mounting: screws and wall plugs suitable for the weight and the support surface, rather than just a nail
• Uses: on its own above a console or sofa, or in a composition with other diameters
• Dusting: soft brush or dry air, following the direction of the weave, focusing on the base
• Location: away from prolonged humidity and direct sunlight
• Indoor use
