Shell wall fan in black grass and cowrie shells 86 cm

Key measurements, to position it above the right piece of furniture:

• Width: 86 cm
• Height: 62 cm
• Thickness: 4 cm
• Weight: 0.98 kg
• Package: 89 x 67 x 5 cm

Two raw materials, and a construction with no closed frame:

• Materials: black-dyed grass and white cowrie shells
• Sheaf: bound, non-braided grass that fans out
• Crown: rows of cowrie shells sewn around a central opening
• Support: it is the tension of the crown that holds the shape of the sheaf

A horizontal format solves a problem that round ones don't: above a wide headboard, a three-seater sofa, or a long console table, the Shell fan follows the line of the furniture instead of contradicting it. Its black and white contrast and raw materials bring a bohemian, graphic touch to a light-colored wall or an interior with raw wood.

To hang it properly, and then keep it in shape:

• Mounting: no hanging system provided, please plan for wall mounting
• Clearance: about ten centimeters below the piece, so that the spray does not rest on anything
• Locations: above a headboard, a sofa, or a console table
• A few stalks will fall off the first few days, this will stop on its own
• Check the cowrie stitching once a year, it is what holds the shape
• Never wet the dyed grass
• Indoor use
