The dome shape of the Astley creates downward directional lighting that is particularly dramatic and sculptural. For optimal rendering, use an E27 LED bulb of 6 to 8W in warm white (2700K). The grazing halo effect on the furniture below is particularly striking on marble, dark wood, or metal surfaces. Position it on a sideboard or console table for maximum visual impact, ideally facing a mirror to multiply its sculptural effect.
