La Caltra est une patère-sculpture. Sa composition de lattes de chêne massif aux hauteurs rythmées — évoquant les tuyaux d'un orgue ou les strates d'un paysage urbain abstrait — constitue un véritable motif décoratif mural, indépendamment de sa fonction. Le chêne naturel, avec son grain prononcé, ses veines expressives et sa teinte miel dorée, donne à chaque exemplaire un caractère légèrement unique. Les 3 crochets biais, taillés dans la même matière et glissés entre les lattes, se révèlent progressivement selon l'angle de vue — un détail de conception particulièrement soigné.

The slats are assembled on a discreet oak back panel, invisible once the coat rack is mounted on the wall. The bevelled hooks, miter-cut from solid oak, are strong and precisely integrated into the structure. Slight variations in shade and grain depending on the piece, characteristic of natural wood.
