The Carmel throw is woven from 52% wool and 48% polyester — a composition designed to combine the natural thermoregulating warmth of wool with the wash resistance of polyester. The chevron pattern is woven in — the two shades are integrated into the fabric and will not fade with washing. The twisted ivory fringes are an integral part of the weave and not added on.

The Carmel throw contains wool—proper care will preserve its softness and shape. Machine wash at 30°C maximum, delicate wool cycle, no spin or very low speed spin. Lay flat to dry to prevent felting. Iron on low heat if necessary, with a protective cloth in between. Do not use bleach. Slight variations in texture inherent to natural wool are normal and not defects.
