The Blackburn side table is made entirely of fiberclay — an innovative composite material combining natural fibers with a mineral clay base. This mixture results in a surface with the look and feel of granulated natural stone, with slightly speckled off-white nuances unique to each piece. Fiberclay offers excellent resistance to impacts and ambient humidity, while being significantly lighter than real stone. Its mineral white color is obtained throughout the material — it does not chip. Each piece features natural micro-variations in texture and shade, signs of artisanal craftsmanship.
