Ce vase est une ode à la forme vivante : deux sphères inégales s'enchaînent en un mouvement continu, depuis une base légèrement évasée jusqu'à un col ouvert irrégulier qui semble avoir été façonné à la main. La glaçure craquelée — obtenue par le choc thermique entre la terre et l'émail lors du refroidissement — parcourt la surface comme un réseau de veines minuscules, unique sur chaque exemplaire. La teinte beige ivoire aux nuances crème et sable varie subtilement selon la lumière, oscillant entre le blanc chaud et le lin naturel. Un objet de contemplation autant que de composition florale.

Crafted from high-fired glazed ceramic, this vase develops its characteristic crackle glaze during rapid cooling after firing—a natural phenomenon resulting from the difference in expansion between the glaze and the clay. This crackle is entirely artisanal and unpredictable: no two pieces have exactly the same network of cracks. The ivory beige hue is achieved with a feldspar-based glaze, applied before firing. Each piece is therefore strictly unique in its shades and precise crackle pattern.

Clean the exterior with a slightly damp soft cloth — cleaning products can alter the crackled glaze over time. For use with fresh flowers, rinse the interior with clear water after each use and allow to dry completely. The crackled glaze may slightly absorb natural pigments from certain flowers — opt for dried flower arrangements to preserve the surface appearance over time. Indoor use only.
