The oval topwith free, not perfectly regular edges is hand-carved in the continuity of the root; the slight irregularities in shape and variations in color from light to golden wood are the signature of natural craftsmanship. A table that belongs as much to the furniture category as it does to that of botanical sculpture.

Solid teak, one of the most noble and resistant wood species in the world, naturally rich in oils that give it exceptional resistance to humidity and temperature variations. The rootused as the base is the densest and most expressive part of the tree; its tormented silhouette, cavities, and knots are fully preserved and highlighted. The tabletopis cut from the adjacent trunk and hand-sanded to achieve a smooth-to-the-touch surface. Each piece is unique; color, shape, and texture naturally vary from one example to another.

Untreated solid teaknaturally develops a silver patinaover time and with exposure to light, a normal and aesthetically valued phenomenon that testifies to the authenticity of the material. To preserve the natural golden hue longer, teak oilcan be applied 1 to 2 times a year. Daily cleaning: dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid chemicals and harsh detergents. Avoid direct exposure to prolonged indoor humidity. Small cracks and wood movements are inherent to the living material and do not constitute a defect.
