Large tapered tobacco brown ceramic vase

What gives this vase its character:

It is a unique handmade piece, its tapered conical shape in a large model, its light horizontal grooves from throwing, and its irregular glaze border are all traces of the potter's hand, impossible to reproduce identically. The tobacco brown glaze with khaki and black specksresults from a superposition of high-fired enamels, whose downward drips create a different organic boundary with each firing. The lower part in natural grooved raw stonewareexposes the clay in its most authentic texture.

Made of hand-thrown and glazed ceramic, fired at high temperature to ensure strength and durability. The glazed and raw two-tone finish is a deliberate decorative choice; the shiny tobacco brown glaze contrasts with the granular and matte surface of the natural ochre stoneware, creating a dialogue between refinement and raw authenticity. Net weight: 2 kg, stability assured even at 48 cm in height.
