The smoked cube darkens the flame instead of colouring it: light passes through olive glass before reaching the table, and the acid green of the base reflects it from below. It is the duller of the two cubes, the one that goes on dark wooden furniture rather than on a white tablecloth.

• Dry microfiber cloth, smoked glass will show marks from a damp cloth
• First clean the top surface, as it receives light from the ceiling
• Do not place anything metallic on it, as this glass scratches easily
• Keep the piece away from the edge of the furniture, as solid glass will not survive a fall
