A solid wood crown frame, oiled rather than varnished.

• Circle assembled in segments joined end-to-end, with joints visible on the surface
• Profile curved outward, closed over the glass by a narrow lip that holds it recessed
• Finish: hard wax oil
• Hand-selected planks: those with a knot larger than 20 mm are discarded
• Variations in color and grain are possible from one segment to another

A wooden moon placed on the wall, with no ornamentation other than its curve. The frame is wide and rounded, so that the disc is first perceived as a volume: from a three-quarter view, it casts a shadow and gains depth. The glass set back in the frame adds a recess reminiscent of a porthole. In the 90 cm size, it pairs well with a narrow console table, a coat hook, or a wall lamp, and is enough to provide a focal point for a bare entryway.

• For use in dry rooms only: solid wood reacts to air humidity
• Frame maintenance: dry cloth, and a slightly damp cloth from time to time
• Wipe off any water splashes on the wood immediately
• Small scratches: sand with 220-grit sandpaper in the direction of the grain, then reapply the wax oil
• Keep the room between 40 and 60% relative humidity
• Limit direct sunlight exposure: the color of the wood changes with light
• Curbside delivery: the carrier does not enter the home, does not unpack, and does not install the mirror
