Hippy Tipi natural abaca pendant lampshade 50 cm

Key measurements to check ceiling height:

• Height: 70 cm
• Diameter: 50 cm
• Weight: 2.3 kg
• Package: 52 x 52 x 68 cm

What makes up the tipi, from the tip to the fringe:

• Material: natural abaca
• Spire: twisted abaca cord, tightly coiled
• Corolla: abaca fibers arranged in a spiral, semi-openwork
• Base: band of bound cords and layered fringe
• Frame: circles and spokes that support the socket
• Handmade: weaving and color vary slightly from one piece to another
• Indoor use only

With its spire pointing toward the ceiling and its ruffled fringe, the Hippy Tipi has the look of a small nomad tent. It marks a precise spot in the room, whether a dining area, armchair, or bench, and pairs well with light-colored plaster, unbleached linen, and woven fiber cushions for a warm, bohemian interior.

What you need to provide for installation and maintenance:

• Lampshade sold individually: suspension cord, E27 socket, and bulb required
• Installation guide over a table: 70 to 80 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the fringe
• Shaping: upon receipt, restore volume to the fibers by hand or with a light steam treatment
• Dusting: use a soft, dry cloth, and a brush in the direction of the twist for the cords, twice a year
• Never untwist a strand; it will not regain its shape
• No water on the abaca
• Indoor use only: outdoors, even under cover, moisture can damage it and is not covered by the warranty
