Amazonia natural and black straw wall sun 110 cm

Key measurements to find the right wall:

• Diameter: 110 cm
• Depth: 11 cm from the wall
• Weight: 1.3 kg
• Package: 112 x 112 x 13 cm

Natural fibers hand-bound, circle after circle:

• Materials: mendong grass and banana leaf
• Crown: natural grass fringe with uneven strands
• Ring: grass dyed black through and through
• Core: banana leaf braided in a spiral, pierced in the center
• Assembly: bundles of strands tied with a black cord onto concentric rings
• Craftsmanship: hand-braided, dye and fringe vary from one piece to another

The dark color placed on the inside and the light on the outside create a hollowed-out well in the center, making the room appear even larger than it is. Above an entryway console or a headboard, on a light-colored wall, whether stone or textured plaster, it acts as a soft focal point that the eye finds from the other end of the room.

How to hang it, and keep it beautiful:

• Mounting: metal ring on the back, to be hung on a screw or a hook with a suitable wall plug
• Where to hang it: above an entryway console or a headboard
• Fringes: they straighten out on their own within two to three days after hanging
• Strands: never comb them, smooth them flat with your hand from the center outwards
• Dusting: soft, dry cloth or brush
• Stains: barely damp cloth, then dry thoroughly
• Location: away from a humid room
• Indoor use
