Raffia storage basket made of banana leaf and natural raffia

Key measurements to help you find its place:

• Diameter: 33 cm
• Height: 27 cm
• Weight: 2.05 kg
• Package: 35 x 35 x 29 cm

Two natural fibers, each with its own role:

• Body: spiral-wound banana leaf
• Trim: raw raffia fringe knotted at the edge
• Handles: two banana leaf handles, integrated into the structure
• Color: natural
• Manufacturing: hand-assembled, fringe and shades vary slightly from one piece to another

Stocky and tousled, the Raffia basket sits beside an armchair, at the foot of a bookcase, or under a vanity unit, where its light fringe softens straight lines. It pairs well with light wood, beige plaster, and other woven fibers for a warm, bohemian interior. The raffia gives it a more vibrant surface than simple braiding.

What to store in it, and how to keep it looking good:

• Uses: magazines, balls of yarn, rolled towels
• Open at the top, to grab what's inside in one motion
• Dusting: soft cloth or soft-bristled brush
• Humidity: raffia warps first, so take the basket out into dry air for a few days
• Indoor use only
