Black beaded and bamboo box 25 cm

Key measurements to help you find a spot for it:

• Width: 25 cm
• Height: 27 cm
• Shape: narrow box, deep lid fitted over the base
• Weight: 1.42 kg
• Package: 26 x 26 x 30 cm

What it is made of, from base to cord:

• Materials: bamboo and seed beads
• Bamboo box covered in black beads arranged in a chevron pattern
• Double band of black lacquered bamboo at mid-height
• Top of the box edged with woven bamboo, under the lid
• Dark bamboo base cut into small feet
• Long natural twisted cord that encircles the box

Black on black, he plays with texture rather than color: beaded chevrons, glossy bamboo belts, and a light-colored cord. On a raw wood console, next to a piece of grey pottery and patinated spheres, he composes a sober still life. On a dark pedestal table, with a beaded bowl, he extends a monochrome decor.

How to use and keep it clean:

• Uses: storing small objects on a console, dresser, or shelf
• Lift the box from underneath, never by the lid or the cord
• Brush the beads in the direction of the chevrons with a soft brush, working downwards
• Do not use a flat cloth on the beading, as it pushes dust between the rows
• Bamboo belts: use a barely damp cloth then wipe dry immediately
• Indoor use
