Path creates an architecture of rounded columns and horizontal lines. The uprights, with their softened corners, punctuate the wall like pillars, the slim shelves run from one to the next, and here and there the cabinets close off a compartment to hide what you would rather keep out of sight. The manufacturer designed it as a network of islands: a low console under a TV, a bookcase that rises to the ceiling, or a divider between two spaces, open on both sides. Leave some space between objects: it is the rhythm of closed and open compartments that sets the scene.

What to plan for at delivery, then day to day.

• Doorstep delivery: each piece is left outside your door, with no delivery inside your home, no unpacking and no assembly
• You assemble the arrangement at home: the uprights stack, the shelves slide into their slots and the cabinets sit on the shelves
• Made to order: 11 to 13 weeks from order to delivery
• Routine care: a dry cloth day to day, and a barely damp cloth from time to time
• Wipe up any spill right away with a dry cloth
• Recommended relative humidity around the furniture: 40 to 60%
• Keep the pieces away from radiators and air-conditioning vents
