What defines its texture and design:

• Material: hand-woven cotton, thick and irregular weave
• Front: off-white and chocolate brown panels of unequal size
• Reverse seams: off-white thread on brown, brown thread on off-white
• Wide, slanted overcast stitches, overlapping both fabrics by one centimeter
• Back: plain off-white cotton
• Closure: zipper along one long side
• Craftsmanship: handmade; seams and tones unique to each cover

A striking contrast in an entirely natural palette: chocolate brown has the depth of black without its harshness, and ecru brightens it. On a tan sofa or in front of dark wood furniture, this cover complements the existing materials rather than introducing a foreign element. It layers just as well over solid-colored cushions as it does over patterns, in both rustic and modern interiors.

Where to place it and how to wash it safely:

• Uses: sofa, bed, bench seat or entryway bench
• Wash cold and separately, never with other laundry
• In hot water, the brown may permanently turn adjacent off-white panels pink
• Never leave to soak, even for a few minutes
• Indoor use
