Round natural raffia and seashell trivet 23 cm

Key measurements for choosing your dishes:

• Diameter: 23 cm, shells included
• Thickness: 1 cm
• Weight: 200 g
• Package: 23 x 23 x 2 cm
• Sold individually

What it's made of, stitch by stitch:

• Material: natural raffia crocheted in a tight spiral
• Border: rim of cowrie shells
• Shape: round disc
• Craftsmanship: handmade
• Unique piece: color and stitch may vary slightly from one trivet to another

Blond and ivory-rimmed, it does not disappear beneath the plate: it frames it with a light halo, like a small seaside frieze. It pairs well with raw wood tables, washed linen, terracotta, and stoneware, and can remain in place once the table is cleared. In sets of two or three, it adds rhythm to a long communal table.

What you need to know to use and keep it clean:

• Uses: serving dishes, terrines, cold drinks
• Never a pot or cast iron fresh from the fire: the fiber will scorch
• Wipe the bottom of the dish before setting it down
• Stain: let it dry, then brush dry with a stiff brush
• Never use water: it spreads the stain into the weave
