Beaded bamboo and black bead lidded box

Measurements for each size, to choose the one that suits you:

• Small model: 10 x 10 cm, 10 cm high
• Large model: 20 x 20 cm, 15 cm high
• Weight: 365 g for the small model, 605 g for the large one
• Shape: square box with lid
• Package: 15 x 15 x 15 cm for the small model, 35 x 35 x 30 cm for the large one

What gives it its beaded texture:

• Material: woven bamboo and beads
• Color: black
• Beads threaded and secured row by row by hand, in chevron patterns
• Woven trim at the lid junction
• Interior in chevron-woven bamboo, left visible

The black of the beads contrasts with the light-colored fiber baskets. On a shelf, a chest of drawers, or a coffee table, this box adds a dark, graphic touch to a display that is otherwise too uniformly natural. Stacked, the two sizes form a small column that catches the eye.

What you need to know to use and keep it intact:

• Uses: jewelry, keys, remote controls, small accessories, or simply as a decorative object
• Never pull on a bead that is sticking out: an entire row could come undone
• Carry the box by the bottom, never by the beaded edge
• Keep it away from the edge of furniture
• Dust with a brush
• Indoor use only
