Decorative column tassel in cowrie shells and cream cotton 77 cm

Key measurements for choosing the right hanging point:

• Total hanging length: 77 cm
• Width: 5 cm
• Cowrie shell column: approx. 15 cm
• Weight: 160 g
• Package: 77 x 6 x 6 cm

Its composition, from the cord to the fringe:

• Shells: natural cowrie shells, in staggered crowns forming a twist
• Beads: a row of small wooden beads
• Fringe: cream cotton threads
• Cord: twisted fiber, included
• Craftsmanship: handmade

A column shape is more elegant than a cluster: it evokes an antique curtain tassel and behaves as such, perfectly at home on a tieback, a cupboard key, or a wooden door handle. Draped around the neck of a terracotta jar, it creates a still life in natural tones. It is a seashell tassel that does not look like a holiday souvenir.

Where to hang it, and how to keep its skirt neat:

• To be hung on a door, curtain, or wall, or placed on a dresser
• Attachment: cord provided, to be looped over a handle, a curtain tie-back, or the neck of a jar
• Skirt: slide it through a wide-tooth comb, once from top to bottom
• Never run it between tightly closed fingers: the fine thread will frizz permanently
• Storage: hung up, never folded in a drawer
• Indoor use
