The Gara cup is hand-shaped from a river pebble individually selected for its form and density. The interior hollowing, done with tools from the top, reveals the heart of the rock: a deeper dark grey hue, with apparent mineral crystals that contrast with the lighter, weathered outer surface. Each cup presents a different shape, color, and texture: the silhouette can be slightly more elongated, more stocky, or more round depending on the original pebble. This variability is proof of the material's authenticity.
