Hauteville low concrete armchair natural grey

The measurements to help you find its place:

• Total height: 65 cm
• Width: 64 cm
• Depth: 58 cm
• Seat height: 32 cm
• Armrest height: 50 cm

What gives it its seat and structure:

• Seat: one-piece concrete shell, enveloping backrest and integrated armrests
• Interior surface finely sanded, smooth to the touch
• Material: lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete, less than 2 tons per cubic meter, reinforced with a steel frame
• Base: four raw reinforcing bar legs connected by a cross-brace, black end caps
• Finish: clear matte water- and oil-repellent varnish, marine-grade finish
• Color: raw natural gray
• Hand-crafted piece: pores, micro-cracks, and color variations unique to each armchair
• Usage: indoor, or outdoor under cover
• Design: Henri Lavallard Boget

Brutalist in its materials, gentle in its silhouette: the winged shell of the low Hauteville chair recalls mid-20th-century seating, while its exposed reinforced steel lends it a workshop-inspired touch. It dialogues with light wood, linen, and neutral tones, which soften its mineral quality, and a colorful cushion is all it takes to warm it up. In a period interior, amidst moldings and parquet floors, it creates a bold contrast.
