Kai Decorative White Shell Pom Pom 40cm

Key measurements to help you decide where to hang it:

• Total height: 40 cm, cord included
• Cluster: 10 cm in diameter
• Weight: 240 g
• Package: 20 x 14 x 7 cm

A piece made by hand, shell by shell:

• Material: white shells, cord and binding in natural fiber
• Manufacturing: handmade, each shell knotted on a short strand
• Cluster: about a hundred tightly packed shells, with no set orientation
• Shade: milky white, some shells veined with gray

A white mass at the end of a cord creates a point, not a line. Hanging from a dark cabinet handle, a chair back, or a bathroom hook, the Kai tassel draws the eye exactly where you place it. Two pieces provide rhythm to a row of doors, and placed on a dresser, it adds a bohemian touch next to a woven fiber mirror or raw wood.

Where to hang it, and how to keep it clean:

• Fixing: double fiber cord, to be looped over a handle, a rod, or a hook
• Uses: on a door, a curtain, a wall, or placed on a chest of drawers
• Indoor use
• Door: avoid a door that slams, the cluster hits the frame
• Dust: a cold air blast once a quarter, while holding the cluster with one hand
• Detached shell: keep it, it can be retied onto its strand
