Rattan, a tropical vine crafted here into round reeds, gives the lampshade a texture that split slats lack, and its spirals make it an object worth admiring even when turned off. The Madeira works well next to a bouclé armchair or a light fabric sofa, near a marble coffee table or on a jute rug, in a bohemian-style living room. Its oval lampshade has volume: it needs a bit of space around it.

Turned on and off with your foot, using the switch on the cable
