A light plate and a wooden bar: Lappo is defined by two simple gestures, in a modern, Scandinavian spirit. The glass softens everything, the wood sets the tone, discreet in a light-colored interior or warmer against a dark wall. In pairs on either side of a sofa, above a bedside table, or along a stone wall, it creates ambient lighting without cluttering the room.

What the assembly diagram shows, and what you need to know to maintain it:

• Turn off the power at the breaker box before installation

• The glass plate is attached at two points on the wooden bar
• An E14 bulb is required, not included
• Indoor use, in a dry location
• Maintenance: soft cloth, cold bulb
