Viewed from above, the Lodi forms a rectangle with rounded corners and slightly curved sides, a soft shape that the matte beige extends: it sits next to a vanity unit as a bold accessory, rather than a utility to be hidden. The black details of the base and hinge give it a sharp outline, which complements dark fixtures as well as grey tiling. It coordinates with the beige accessories in a bathroom.

How it is used on a daily basis:

• Foot-operated opening, hands-free
• Soft-close lid: the lid lowers slowly, without slamming
• 3-liter capacity: an auxiliary bin, to be emptied often
• Indoor use, designed for the bathroom
