Newtown fiberclay white fluted side table

Key measurements to see where it will fit:

• Tabletop diameter: 40 cm
• Height: 55 cm
• Maximum load: 5 kg
• Weight: 13.2 kg
• Package: 66 x 52 x 51 cm, 15.3 kg

What it is made of, and what you see:

• Material: fiberclay, a composite of clay, natural fibers, and cement
• Finish: matte white, unvarnished, slightly speckled
• Base: double-curved with vertical grooves, flared under the top
• Unique piece: slight variations in shade and grain
• Usage: indoor only

Between sculpture and furniture, the Newtown evokes ancient ceramics as much as the organic forms of today's design. Next to a bouclé armchair, beneath a free-form mirror, with two candles and a few books, it creates a soft reading nook. It pairs well with linens, sand tones, and light woods, in a minimalist interior as well as in a more bohemian setting.

What you need to know for maintenance:

• Delivered fully assembled, no assembly required
• Cleaning: slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately
• Stains: soft, slightly soapy cloth
• Avoid immersion and harsh detergents, which would alter the texture
• Do not sit or stand on the table, and do not place heavy objects on it
