Description
A fringe of black-dyed grass forms a large eye on the wall, with a small round mirror as a pupil. It adds depth to a bedroom, living room, or hallway, and in the reception area, a little steam or a wave of the hand is enough to restore all the volume to the blades.

Dimensions Black Eye wall mirror in black dyed grass 100 cm
Dimensions and Packaging +

Key measurements to find its wall:

  • Width: 100 cm
  • Height: 60 cm
  • Thickness: 2 cm
  • Weight: 3 kg
  • Package: 73 x 30 x 7 cm
Materials and Manufacturing +

What makes it stand out:

  • Frame: hand-bound natural grass, dyed black
  • Shape: an almond-shaped eye, two arcs fringed with long strands, open at the center
  • Mirror: small round mirror in the center, held by a thin black rim
  • Natural fiber: strand, tone, shape, and finish may vary slightly from one piece to another
  • Indoor use
Style and Decoration +

An eye fringed with black, a pupil that reflects: the Black Eye looks at itself as much as it reflects the room. On a white wall, it stands out like a stroke of ink; on a dark wall, it blends into the texture. Hang it above a raw wood console, among a few woven boxes and a sculpture, or alone in a hallway that lacks presence.

Use and Care +

What you need to know for hanging and maintenance:

  • Fixing: wall-mounted, two attachment points recommended to prevent it from swiveling
  • Setup: upon receipt, a little steam or a hand gesture will restore volume to the strands
  • Frame: dust often, with a soft cloth or brush
  • Mirror: clean with care, without harsh products
  • No wet products, as water can cause the dye to bleed
  • Avoid direct heat and prolonged sunlight
  • Indoor use only
