Perugia woven teak folding chair

Key measurements to ensure it fits:

• Total height: 73 cm
• Width: 66 cm
• Depth when open: 74.5 cm
• Seat height: 40 cm at the front, 30 cm at the back
• Seat: 59 cm wide, 46 cm deep
• Backrest: 57 cm long
• Weight: 8 kg
• Folds flat for storage
• Packaging: delivered assembled, in a box measuring at most 100 x 29 x 68 cm

What makes it sturdy and comfortable, day after day:

• Seat and backrest: hand-woven faux leather straps
• Padding: none; no foam or springs, the comfort comes from the tension of the weave
• Frame: solid teak, folding cross-leg base
• Teak shade: matches the straps, deep or natural depending on the finish
• The straps allow air to circulate

The silhouette draws from mid-century folding chairs, the kind one would tuck away between dinner parties. Open, the Perugia holds its own beside a fireplace or a bookshelf; folded, it disappears against a wall. The weave and teak harmonize with wool rugs, warm woods, woven baskets, and matte ceramics.

What you need to know for its use and maintenance:

• Delivered assembled: it unfolds and is ready to use
• Fold it flat to store it, without forcing the cross-brace
• Usage: indoor
• Teak maintenance: soft brush and soapy water, then rinse with clear water
