Description
A crown of gold-plated bars at staggered heights tops rows of glass prisms that refract light into shards. The Trend sits flush against the ceiling: it provides the look of a chandelier where ceiling height is lacking. Bulbs remain to be chosen, and with them, the warmth of the light.

Style and Decoration +

Golden verticals set at off-beat intervals and a crown of prisms that reflect the light: the Trend plays the role of decoration as much as light source. At the center of a living room, above a dining table, or in an entryway, it makes the ceiling a focal point. It harmonizes with the brass, marble, and velvet of a contemporary interior just as well as with the moldings of a classic apartment.

Installation and Maintenance +

The steps from the manual, in order:

  • Remove the two knurled nuts under the mounting plate
  • Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling using the two wall plugs and their screws
  • Connect the wires to the terminal block
  • Place the body back onto the mounting plate rods and lock it in place with the knurled nuts
  • Screw in the fifteen E14 bulbs, to be purchased separately
  • Hang the 217 glass prisms one by one, as the final step
  • Usage: indoors, in a dry room (IP20)

Maxlight

Discover all Maxlight pieces

Maxlight lights a room in two ways: decorative fittings (pendant, wall and ceiling lights) in gold or black metal, glass, travertine or brass, and a magnetic track system with adjustable spotlights, light bars and connected control via Zigbee or DALI. Many models have built-in LEDs; the others take a standard bulb.
