Measurements to know before preparing the ceiling:

Ceiling cutout: 16.5 x 7.7 cm
Frame: 16.4 x 7.4 cm
Thickness of the frame alone: 4.2 cm
Recessed depth, including modules: 9.1 cm
Number of slots: 2

What this frame includes, and what is required to power it:

Composition: frame only with its plastering wings, without light source or driver
Light sources required: two HM190 LED modules, sold separately
Power supply required: two HT190 drivers, one per module, sold separately, connected to 230 V, 50 Hz mains
Light tint: warm white 3000 K or neutral white 4000 K, depending on the modules
Dimming: possible with the dimmable version of the drivers
Material: white lacquered aluminum
Installation: trimless, for plastering
Use: indoor

Once the plaster has been touched up, all that remains on the ceiling are two dark circles from which the light seems to emerge from the surface itself. This frame is suitable for smooth ceilings and minimalist interiors, above a worktop, along a hallway, or in a regular grid in a living room.

The installation steps, in order:

Switch off the power before any installation, maintenance, or repair
Cut the ceiling to 16.5 x 7.7 cm
Seal the frame into the plaster using its perforated flanges
Connect each driver to the mains, then plug its module into it using the connector
Slide the modules into the frame, then turn the power back on

Maxlight lights a room in two ways: decorative fittings (pendant, wall and ceiling lights) in gold or black metal, glass, travertine or brass, and a magnetic track system with adjustable spotlights, light bars and connected control via Zigbee or DALI. Many models have built-in LEDs; the others take a standard bulb.
