Rooty side table in natural teak root

Key measurements, to be read keeping in mind that every root has its own shape:

• Height: 45 cm
• Footprint: 45 x 45 cm
• Tabletop: approximately 30 to 45 cm, depending on the root
• Weight: 8.3 kg
• Delivery: one 50 x 50 x 50 cm package, table assembled

What it is made of, and what makes it unique:

• Material: reclaimed teak root, hand-carved
• Tabletop: natural edge of the stump, visible rings and knots
• Base: four teak branch legs
• Unique piece: shape and size vary from one root to another
• Usage: indoor only, even a covered outdoor area can damage it

Halfway between furniture and sculpture, the Rooty brings the raw warmth of wood to the living room. It complements an ecru sofa, a lime-washed or terracotta wall, striped cushions, and woven baskets. Alone next to an armchair or as a stand for a plant, it adds depth to a sober interior.

What you need to know for installation and maintenance:

• Delivered assembled, ready to install
• Hollows, knots, and cracks are part of the root; they are not defects
• Dusting: soft brush, which gets into the relief better than a cloth
• The root is never perfectly flat: check stability before loading the top
• Indoor use only
