Bamboo, a fast-growing plant fiber, is here split into thin slats and woven into a saucer shape: the openwork weave creates the entire effect, whether on or off. Flat and wide, the Kalimantan adorns a dining room open to the living area without obstructing the view, whether hung alone above a table or in pairs above a large one. Its two bamboo shades harmonize with light walls, green plants, and white tables in a bohemian-style interior.
