The Raia is a large table that feels weightless: the apron refines the tabletop when viewed from the side, while the legs splay outwards and taper toward the floor. It fits as well in a formal dining room as it does in an open-plan living space, paired with light chairs and minimal tabletop accessories. Its finish sets the tone, whether brighter or deeper.

• Daily care: a dry cloth, and occasionally a barely damp cloth over the entire surface
• Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately with a dry cloth, then wipe the entire surface with a damp cloth; do not use corrosive products or bleach
• Place trivets under hot objects and keep the table away from radiators or air conditioning vents
• Light scratches: the manufacturer recommends using 220-grit sandpaper in the direction of the grain, without steel wool, followed by a new coat of hard wax oil applied with a soft cotton cloth
• Solid wood reacts to both dry and humid air: aim for 50% relative humidity in the room, between 40% and 60%
• Sunlight will alter the color of the wood over time
