The Raia is a large table that feels weightless: the apron refines the tabletop when viewed from the side, while the legs splay and taper towards the floor. It fits as well in a formal dining room as it does in an open-plan living area, paired with lightweight chairs and minimal tabletop decor. Its finish sets the tone, whether lighter or deeper.

• Arrange for help and a clear path on the day of delivery
• The wood surfaces are finished with a hard wax oil
• For daily care: a dry cloth, and occasionally a slightly damp cloth over the entire surface
• Wipe up spilled liquids immediately with a dry cloth, then go over the entire surface with a damp cloth; do not use corrosive products or bleach
• Use trivets under hot objects and keep the table away from radiators or air conditioning vents
• Light scratches: the manufacturer recommends using 220-grit sandpaper along the grain, without steel wool, followed by a new coat of hard wax oil applied with a soft cotton cloth
• Solid wood reacts to both dry and humid air: aim for 50% relative humidity in the room, between 40 and 60%
• Sunlight will change the color of the wood over time
