Anchor side table travertine 53 cm

The functional height, the surface area of the tabletop, and the floor space it occupies.

• Height: 53 cm
• Tabletop: 62.5 x 48.5 cm
• Conical base tapering downwards, a single floor support
• Free-form tabletop, set with a slight overhang on the base
• The series includes a second side table, 45 cm high with a 53 x 41.2 cm tabletop

Two materials, two pieces, and a wooden joint without a single piece of hardware.

• Top: solid oak or walnut, depending on the version
• Base: travertine
• Joint: a tenon runs down from the top along the base and fits into a notch, with no visible hardware
• Wood finish: hard wax oil
• Hand-selected boards: any with a knot larger than 20 mm are set aside

A pale stone and a plank of solid wood, set one on the other with no transition. The cone plants a solid mass on the floor, and the top crowns it with a soft outline that overhangs more on one side than the other: your eye travels around the piece without ever finding the same silhouette twice. Next to an armchair in a bold color, the table acts as a neutral point. Set a lamp with a wide shade on it and nothing else: the stone needs room to breathe.

Delivery is curbside, and maintaining the tabletop takes just a few simple steps.

• Curbside delivery: the carrier does not enter the home, unpack the item, or assemble the table
• Routine tabletop care: use a dry cloth, occasionally followed by a slightly damp cloth
• Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately with a dry cloth
• Minor wood scratches: sand with 220-grit sandpaper in the direction of the grain, then reapply the oil-wax using a soft cotton cloth
• Do not use steel wool to smooth a sanded surface
• Maintain the room at 40-60% relative humidity and keep the table away from radiators and air conditioning vents
• Limit direct sunlight exposure: the color of the wood will change when exposed to light
• Travertine base: the manufacturer recommends a pH-neutral product suitable for natural stone
• Never use acidic or harsh products on the stone: they will damage the surface and its finish
• Avoid prolonged contact with liquids, and wipe up coffee, wine, or oil immediately to minimize the risk of staining
