Description
A hand-molded concrete shell, scooped for the seat and raised at the back, set on four raw rebar legs connected by a footrest. Its matte varnish repels water and grease: a coffee stain at the counter wipes off instantly with a sponge and soap. It brings an industrial workshop look to a kitchen island or a high table.

Dimensions Hauteville concrete counter stool natural gray 67 cm
Dimensions and Capacity +

The decisive measurements to compare with the height of your counter:

  • Seat height: 67 cm
  • Total height: 82 cm, including backrest
  • Width: 45 cm
  • Depth: 45.5 cm
  • Reference: a counter 92 to 97 cm high, to maintain 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the top of the counter
  • Footrest: 23 cm from the floor
  • Weight: 11 kg
Materials and Finishes +

What gives it its structure and character:

  • Seat: one-piece concrete shell, hollowed in the center and raised at the back into a small backrest
  • Material: lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete, less than 2 tons per cubic meter, reinforced with a steel structure
  • Composition: cement, sand, water, steel, and fibers
  • Manufacturing: handmade, with pores, micro-cracks, and shade variations unique to each piece
  • Finish: clear matte water-repellent and oil-repellent varnish, marine-grade finish
  • Base: four raw rebar legs, visible ridges, connected by cross braces that form the footrest
  • Black tips under the legs
  • Color: natural gray, raw base
  • Usage: indoor, and outdoor under shelter
  • Design: Henri Lavallard Boget
Style and Decoration +

Raw concrete and exposed iron: Hauteville lends a workshop aesthetic to a kitchen island or high table. It suits a family, urban, or vintage interior, and the light wood of a counter or parquet floor softens its mineral presence. A pair placed under a tabletop, like at a café counter, is enough to create a snack corner.

Installation and Maintenance +

What you need to know to assemble and maintain it, both indoors and outdoors:

  • Before assembly: identify the parts and check the hardware
  • Entrust assembly to a qualified person: if poorly assembled, the stool may tip over
  • Never force the fasteners, and retighten the screws after some time of use
  • Keep the instructions for any questions for the retailer
  • Do not stand on the stool
  • Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately
  • Red wine, oil, tea, or coffee stains: damp sponge and soap, right away
  • Daily: a soft, clean, dry cloth
  • Never use abrasive products, solvents, acidic detergents, bleach, wire brushes, or high-pressure cleaners
  • Protection: a wax or stone care product, applied regularly
  • Outdoors: sheltered, protected from rain and sun, and covered off-season with a waterproof, UV-resistant, and breathable polyester cover
Delivery +

This piece is delivered to you free of charge: on its own, it reaches the 150 € threshold for free delivery.

Lyon Béton

Discover all Lyon Béton pieces

Lyon Béton turns concrete into a material for furniture: coffee tables, dining or bistro tables, stools, armchairs, bookcases, right down to small everyday objects. The concrete stays visible, in natural grey or black, sometimes paired with oak, with the bubbles and shades that come with a cast material.
