The Takamaka draws on the concept of decorative sunburst clocks: a minimalist white dial, crossed by golden rays, and a thick frame that catches the light. It warms up a light-colored wall above a dark table, complements woven fibers, wood, and glass, and finds its place in a contemporary interior, a room with art deco accents, or a Scandinavian decor that ventures into gold-toned metal.

What you need to know for hanging and maintenance:

• Mounting: hook integrated on the back of the frame, on a nail or screw suitable for your wall, not included
• Battery: 1 AA battery to be inserted into the compartment on the back
• Setting: time adjustment knob on the back
• Maintenance: soft, dry cloth, without abrasive or damp products on the gold-tone aluminum
