Triangular coconut fiber shade sail 350 x 350 cm

Key measurements to adapt it to your patio:

• Shape: triangle
• Sides: 350 x 350 cm
• Thickness: 3 cm
• Weight: 4.2 kg dry
• Package: 45 x 42 x 32 cm

What gives it its soft light:

• Material: spun coconut fiber, woven into a loose canvas
• Open mesh that filters light: dappled rather than sharp shadow
• Hemmed and reinforced edge
• Coconut ropes finished with metal thimbles, distributed along the edge
• Color, shape, and weave may vary slightly from one piece to another
• Not waterproof: rain passes through the mesh

A white technical fabric creates a ceiling over a terrace; a plant fiber shade does the opposite: it filters. Seen from below against the light, the mesh illuminates and turns russet. It complements a gravel patio, a wooden deck, or a pool area, taking on all its softness at sunrise and sunset.

To install it and make it last:

• Attachment: three anchor points, using the ropes with metal thimbles
• No tensioners, carabiners, or screws provided: rope and anchors to be supplied
• Keep it taut: if it is loose, it will pull on its anchors with every gust of wind
• Unhook it before a storm is forecast and for the winter
• Let it dry flat before folding it: when wet, it weighs much more
• Store it in a sheltered place, never in a damp chest
• Brush it while dry to remove leaves and pollen caught in the mesh
