Natural water hyacinth rug with fringe 260 x 180 cm

Key measurements to help you choose your spot:

• Dimensions: 260 x 180 cm
• Thickness: 1 cm
• Weight: 18 kg
• Package: 182 x 25 x 25 cm

What it's made of, fiber by fiber:

• Materials: water hyacinth and cotton
• Weave: flat weave, chunky braided water hyacinth held together by brown cotton threads
• Appearance: caramel speckled with brown
• Short edges: brown fringe
• Craftsmanship: a weave that gives it its durability and handmade look

The fringes break up the rectangle, giving this rug the look of a hand-woven piece rather than a simple mat. Its warm, earthy caramel tone creates a natural atmosphere in a living room or dining area, and pairs well with light wood, rattan, raffia, and gray or white walls.

Where to place it, and how to maintain it:

• Uses: under a coffee table and the front of a sofa, or under a dining area
• Stability: heavy, it stays in place without a rug pad
• Vacuum cleaner: stop before the fringes, a rotating brush will pull them out
• Fringes: comb by hand, using your fingers
• No water: water hyacinth absorbs through its hollow stem
• To avoid: damp rooms
• Indoor use
