Quelle hauteur de tabouret pour mon bar ou mon îlot ?

Pour un plan de bar autour de 90 cm, choisissez un tabouret d'assise proche de 65 cm ; pour un îlot de 110 cm, visez 75 cm environ. Gardez une trentaine de centimètres entre l'assise et le plan pour rester à l'aise.
Où placer un banc dans la maison ?

Le banc trouve sa place dans l'entrée pour se chausser, au pied du lit, ou en bout de table pour gagner des assises. Sans dossier, il se glisse sous une console ou une table quand on ne s'en sert pas, sans encombrer le passage.
Combien de personnes sur un banc de table ?

Comptez environ 60 cm par personne. Un banc de 120 cm accueille deux convives, un modèle de 160 à 180 cm en reçoit trois. Vérifiez qu'il se glisse sous le plateau pour le ranger et libérer le passage entre les repas.
Tabouret, pouf ou banc comme assise d'appoint ?

Le tabouret dépanne au comptoir et se range sous le plan. Le pouf, léger et déplaçable, sert aussi de repose-pieds. Le banc offre plusieurs places d'un coup. Pour une pièce polyvalente, un pouf ou un tabouret mobile reste le plus souple.

Entryway and Living Room Benches

The bench is the most versatile piece of furniture in the house: at the foot of the bed, in the entryway for putting on shoes, at the end of a table, or along a wall. Made of solid wood, upholstered bouclé, or metal, some models conceal a very practical storage chest.

Poufs and Footstools

Modular, poufs fit everywhere: an extra seat when entertaining, a footrest in front of the armchair, or a small side table with a tray. In bouclé, velvet, or leather, they add an extra seating option without making the room feel heavy.

Where to place a bench or stool?
