Merapi donut bowl in brown ceramic 15.5 cm

Key measurements to help you find its place:

• Diameter: 15.5 cm
• Height: 6.5 cm
• Capacity: 250 ml
• Weight: 0.49 kg
• Package: 20.5 x 20.5 x 11.5 cm

What gives it its shape and reflections:

• Material: hand-glazed ceramic
• Shape: rim folded inward into a rounded bead, opening narrower than the outer diameter
• Glaze: volcanic brown, dark brown circles and craters on amber brown
• Inner base: smooth and glossy, speckled with golden dots
• Each piece features its own unique shades of color

A narrowed opening draws the eye toward the center: the contents are revealed as one approaches, and the bowl becomes an object to be observed. When empty, it reads like an enamelled pebble on a console or shelf. It can be paired with the plates, dishes, and small bowls of the Merapi line, which feature the same brown enamel.

What you need to know for serving and maintenance:

• Uses: dried fruits, chocolates, potpourri, trinket bowl, or decorative object
• Hand wash with lukewarm water
• Wipe the rim fold, which traps water, with a fine cloth
• Let dry opening side up before storing: limescale is visible on dark enamel
• No dishwasher or microwave instructions provided by the manufacturer
