Description
A rattan cylinder with vertical ribs and rounded shoulders that echoes the geometry of a rectangular table rather than contradicting it. When lit, it casts graphic shadows throughout the room, and a soft cloth is all that is needed for maintenance. This is the lampshade only: the cord and socket are sold separately.

  • H 60 cm: 50 cm diameter, 60 cm high, 2.4 kg

  • Shape: cylinder with straight sides and rounded shoulders, open at the top and bottom
  • Package: 52 x 52 x 64 cm for H 60 cm
Materials and Manufacturing +

What it is made of, and what you need to provide:

  • Material: natural, unstained rattan, handcrafted
  • Vertical uprights wrapped with horizontal bindings
  • Rattan handle and metal hooks at the top
  • Socket: standard E27, not provided, light bulb not included
  • Internal metal cross-brace supporting the socket
  • Handcrafted piece: natural variations from one item to the next
  • Color: natural
  • Indoor use only
Style and Decoration +

The straight form pairs better with clean-lined furniture than a sphere: above a rectangular table, the cylinder echoes the geometry of the piece rather than contradicting it. Its light rattan keeps the room welcoming and airy, when paired with wood, linen, or straw seating. Used in pairs over a long table, or by playing with two different heights, it creates a line of light.

Installation and Maintenance +

What you need to know for installation and maintenance:

  • Lampshade only: E27 cord and socket to be provided, bulb not included
  • The height of the lampshade is added to the length of the cord: measure before ordering
  • Installation guide for over a table: 70 to 80 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the lampshade
  • Dusting: soft cloth or brush, horizontally along each binding
  • If needed: slightly damp cloth, followed by careful drying
  • Unhook the tall version to clean it, including the interior
  • Indoor use, away from prolonged sunlight, heat, and humidity

This piece is delivered to you for 12,90 €, and delivery is free on orders from 150 €.
